Synergy - The online Merriam and Webster Dictionary defines synergy as working together. Synergy comes from the Greek word Synergos.
Physical Therapy (PT) - The purposeful application of clinical and scientific knowledge to maximize a patient's functional ability following injury, surgery, or a disease process. PT can involve hands-on manual treatment such as massage, range of motion exercises, or joint mobilization performed by the therapist. Other forms of PT include, light, heat, cold, sound/ultrasound, laser, electrotherapy, therapeutic exercise, stretching, posture and ergonomics training, movement analysis, injury prevention programs, home exercise/fitness programs, and patient education.
